UI/UX - FullSend App

I was tasked with exploring the UI and UX for a new climbing gym app.

The app combines many elements of typical booking and sport apps, but combines it with unique features to make climbing in a gym more accessible, interesting and trackable.

Once you’ve found a gym you like, I designed FullSend to help you onboard, connect with other climbers, and track all of your climbing progress.

Read on to see some of the features in full.

Find a Gym

With fullsend, finding a climbing gym is simple. Plenty of filtering options, a great search, and an easy-to-browse list of nearby gyms.

When designing FullSend, I wanted to make gym onboarding easier, quicker and more enjoyable.

Stay up to date

Once you’ve found your perfect gym, FullSend makes community the number one priority.

The UX focuses on putting key information front and center. At a glance, it’s easy to see if the gym is open and to bring up the navigation details.

It also holds your login/membership details, and can show you a range of information on new events and classes.

Track all your climbs

With FullSend, I wanted to provide more interactivity for climbers and setters.

Setters can use a grid-based system to map out their gym, assign grades, and even lay out complete climbs.

For climbers, this gives a much more complete picture of what climbs are available, and what they should climb next.

Climbers can even log their climb attempts, and see how they rank compared to other crushers.
